Reminder
Schedule one-time or repeating reminders that notify you at the right time.
What It Does
The Reminder app lets you schedule reminders that can either nudge you back to a conversation or trigger your mate to perform a task at a scheduled time.
Available skills:
- Set Reminder – Create a reminder for a specific time or a random time within a window. Supports one-time and repeating schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom intervals).
- List Reminders – View your upcoming reminders.
- Cancel Reminder – Cancel a reminder you no longer need.
Two types of reminders:
- Simple (notification only) – Your mate just sends you a notification. Use this when you want to be nudged back to something, like “remind me about this chat tomorrow.” No response is generated – you just get a ping.
- Full (task trigger) – Your mate actually performs a task when the reminder fires. Use this when you want something done automatically, like “search the news every morning and summarise the headlines.”
Reminder targets:
- New chat – The reminder creates a fresh conversation when it fires.
- Current chat – The reminder sends a follow-up message in the chat where you set it.
How to Use It
- Simple reminder: “Remind me about this conversation tomorrow at 3pm”
- Scheduled task: “Every Monday morning, search for the latest tech news and give me a summary”
- Random timing: “Remind me sometime this week between 10am and 2pm to take a break”
- Repeating reminder: “Remind me every day at 9am to check my to-do list”

Tips

- Repeating reminders can have an end date or a maximum number of occurrences.
- You can cancel any pending reminder by asking your mate or through the list of active reminders.
